yeah, as ECG said, Lowe has always been a bit of a dickhead and it was him that told the local papers that Sturrock's "honeymoon perioid was over" which lead to all the pressure. Most scummers hate Lowe anyway because they feel he lacks ambition and is very tight when it comes to money. He refused to release an extra few grand to buy Javier De Pedro so they instead had to settle for Neil McCann who was shite. They also blame him for fat boy Beattie wanting to leave.

The timing is stupid too because he's allowed him to spend money over the summer and by the time they appoint anyone new, they're going to be stuck with the current squad until january.

i couldnt believe that game, we were shit 1st half then got back into on half time. scored two fantastic goals then let bergkamp walk through us while we back off. then a daft minute lost us game. always had hope though, it was always going to have another goal before the end - just wished we'd scored the bloody thing.

Let's not forget Lowe also sacked Dave Jones when he was accused of whatever it was (child molesting was it? ) - not just saying this cause he's now our manager but I couldn't believe that when it happened, particularly since Jones got them to 10th or so one season, which as far as I'm aware is the highest they had finished in the top flight in years until Strachan came along.

Yeah as soon as Jones was accused of kiddy fiddling he was sacked, they didn't even wait to see if he was guilty or not, which is pretty out of order.

Glad Savage got the ban, he is a cunt, and anyone who says "you only hate him because he is good" is wrong, I hate him because he is a cheating cunt and deserves to be punished more often, he is not better then average.

And wee Gooner, that Mutu and Henry song is shit, Mutu had to be mentioned in the last line.

correct me if i'm wrong, i think when they took the stance of sacking jones, it was to do with child molesting and was in the wake of what happened with greham rix at chelsea. I think jones was cleared of all charges, however soton sacked him for it thinking they were doing the right thing.

Yeah I checked. He was suspended for 12 months pending the case, then he took Southampton to a tribunal for the suspension, but the tribunal found in favour of the club.

The club had a right to suspend him, but they were kind of transparent in the way that they obviously had no intention of bringing him back whatever the outcome.

yeah i know it means nothing, a few years ago we had a young centre back on our books and let him go as he wasnt good enough, that same person has just joined real madrid for £13.4m!

he may have been injured while on trial, he may have been best player out there, who knows what goes on behind the scenes at clubs. ive only heard good reports though about him so all the best to the lad if he does move to blackburn.

No, Lampard is as good as ever, people just expect too much of him now, it was his pass out wide to Baba, and it was a good un. He is still the man.

Well I was certainly glad to see the back of Joe Cole, dunno why he put on Eidur, and Drogba got injured . Tiago did fuck all but scored a good goal so I guess I can't be mad at him, I can be mad at our fans for creating the worst song ever:
