NFC east is so stupid, none of the teams are good, especially the cowboys, but they "look good" and everyone thinks they are. lol at the redskins being 5-9 though after everyone predicted 15-1.

The first half was all buisness and then the defense got comfortable in the 2nd. You also have to look at the fact that any little injury was going to take a guy out of the game (so it wouldn't get worse at any point) so we had starters sitting out a lot of plays in the second half.

6. Indianapolis Colts: Run defense
The Colts can't stop anyone on the ground. That has been established. But that fact could actually work in their favor come playoff time. Opposing teams will try to eat up clock by running the ball against the Colts to keep Peyton Manning off the field. But it's almost impossible to run the ball against Indianapolis without scoring in 90 seconds or less. Advantage: Colts.

Anybody know if the Saints won yesterday? I haven't seen anything in here about it. They obviously won since they're Super Bowl champs but I just haven't seen anyone talking about their victory yesterday. What's going on?

I really want to see coaching changes in the Giants organization next year. I'm not talking about Coughlin because judging from press conferences he seems to know what the problems are, but he is only 1 man. Well I dunno if I'd put "soft and overhyped" more like he is a MLB who depends more on speed then fighting off blocks (he returned kicks in college). That is the type of linebacker you need for the cover 2. Obviously lineman are going to hate on players like that, since they are more into out running you then trying to fight with you at the line.

Urlacher isn't the only pro bowl linebacker on defense though, Lance Briggs nigga

Freeney was a fucking monster last night. I dont know the record for most forced fumbles, but Freeney has to be on his way to breaking it. It seems like every time that guy hits someone, its a forced fumble. He's insanley nuts and just ripped to shreds the Bengals Offensive line and Chad Palmer.

The Bandwagon is closed. No more can get on. Everyone that got off last week, seeya. This Colts team cant be broken no matter what. They proved it last night. They beat one of the hottest and most talented teams in the league when they very easily could have had there spirits broken and lost that game. They manned up and stayed focused despite two weeks of being manhandled by division foes and losing to a 60 yard field goal. They were beat up. We were starting Matt Giaradono, Rob Morris and Dexter Reid. The Bengals were hungry and on a roll. They were ready to finally topple Indy, like they've been talking about for 3 years. Indy had every reason to lose this game and somehow Tony Dungy kept this team from doubting themselves and didnt let them listen to all the critics who were ripping them ( deservedly so ).

Look. I dont know how, but i think its the year. Something is different. The last couple of years were the same. Colts were the dominant team. They were the favorites. This year, they arent even the 3rd or 4th best team in the league. There are no high expectations. Everyone thinks that Indy can be bounced from the first round by any team in the AFC playoffs. So i dont know why i think its the year. I cant tell you how we can possibly stop L.T. and beat the Chargers. But i just got a feeling. I feel like this is the most unlikely year and thats why it just might happen. I probably sound like a broken record, but I have no choice but to believe. Theirs just too much future history on this team for them to not have a Superbowl to be remembered for. I refuse to believe that the NFL Gods will keep the Indianapolis Colts without a Superbowl for the next 5-10 years. I dont believe it. This is the year. It has to be. My heart cant take another playoff loss right now. This has to be it.

I'm sorry dude... it's not going to happen. The Bolts or the Ravens will be the AFC half of the Super Bowl this year.

Any team with a running game (thanks to Jacksonville) can expose the shit out of the Indy D and control the game. Manning is at his best when he can control the ball with a running attack, if he has to play from behind... he has a tough time. It's going to happen again this year. I will laugh my ass off if the Patriots beat the Colts again in the playoffs. Broncos lurking as a Wild Card team is pissing me off though. Patriots always play like shit againest them.

I don't know what to think about the Patriots chances though, some games they look like a Superbowl team then other games they play like absolute shit.

Another thing, whats the deal with Cato June? Some plays he looks like an All Pro then you look again he is getting run over and trampled on by Rudi Johnson. He so inconsistant from play to play I really don't get it. Maybe he just overpersues or something and that gets him out of tackling position, because he missed a bunch last night.
