LOL, he has a guy's name tattooed on his leg.

And he didn't know his spleen was ruptured until afterwards. I bet he cried into his pillow when he heard he could have died.

How does any of that count towards how tough he is? Because he didnt know his spleen was ruptured, makes him less tougher?

LOL Less tougher.

But the answer is yes. The question has always been, how mentally tough is Chris Simms?

Had he known he had a ruptured spleen, he wouldn't have gone back out there. If they told him "You're fine, it's just a contusion," he could have gone out like nothing happened.

You ever smash your finger or slice your arm open and not realize that it hurts until you see it?

I dropped a 50 pound boulder on my finger while I was wearing cloth gloves. I noticed blood dripping off of the glove, took it off and realized my fingertip had been split open like a grape. Then I realized that it hurt.

However, I do NOT have another man's name tattooed on my leg. That automatically defaults Chris Simms from manhood right there. He and Esera Toualo should hang out.

You idiot. If the team had known he had a ruptured spleen, he wouldnt have been sent out there in the first place. Get out of here with that crap man. The guy played with a fucking ruptured spleen. It doesnt matter if he knew or not. HE PLAYED GREAT FOOTBALL WITH A RUPTURED SPLEEN. What the fuck do you want from the guy? You want him to break his back and run shotgun formation from a wheel chair. You're a dumb ass, dude. You have no clue what you're talking about. You dont even know what toughness is. You sit in your little computer chair and say some dude, who got pounded repeatedly and suffered a rupture spleen, isnt tough. Shut the fuck up. You know dick.

OMG he has some guys name tattooed on his leg. OMGZOR. He's so not tough now. OMG no one's ever had a name tattoed on him. OMG!!!!!!! Whats wrong with him. HE MUST NOT BE TOUGH!!!!

You're a poof. Shut up.

I think if his last name was something other than Manning he would have another QB in New York breathing down his neck waiting to get his job. Obviously they got some issues but they still have Burress, Shockey (bit overrated but still a real good recieving TE) and Barber on offense, so he shouldn't look like a scared 14 year old when he's out there.
Nah, like I said a lot of blame has to fall on Eli's shoulders, I don't disagree. Even though we have the potential to be a very potent offense it doesn't equate to anything because we don't use it right, which is both Eli's fault and the coaching.

If you watched the Jags game, you would've seen Burress give up on some routes/plays, which he tends to do when he gets frustrated. Shockey, lately, has rarely seen the ball coming his way (I don't think he is overrated by any means, underused definitely. He has good blocking ability now from what I've noticed and has developed into a pretty well rounded TE.) We only ran one of the NFL's best backs 10 or so times (and continued to run up the middle at the league's two best DT's, HB Sweep anyone?)

There really are so many more problems than most people realize here in NY, the casual fan doesn't see it and gets the perception that its 100% Eli. The coaching is equally at fault, but theres no excuses no matter who you're blaming. It just pisses me off as a fan because I think most people would agree that a healthy Giants team should be able to hang with any other team in the league (which is also what pisses me off, injuries) but oh well.

Yeah I'm not blaming it on Eli, but I just don't think he is ever going to be that good of a QB. He just doesn't look like he has "it"

I could be wrong, but its been like 3 years now hasn't it? Dude is still "developing" while the guy he was traded for sat on the bench for 2 years and is now playing a lot better then Eli ever has. Granted Rivers has Tomlinson, but he just looks a lot more comfortable playing QB in the NFL. Eli is lucky to have the name Manning because he really isn't anything special IMO

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

He has the initials of his best friend on his lower leg.

The guy in question is Kyle Shanahan (son of Mike Shanahan). He was a WR at UT, a quality control coach on the Bucs, and is now a WR coach for the Texans.

Plus.... there are 4 guys who got the ink done not just Simms.

And part of Bean's arguement is that this some how makes him less manly?

I have to question when people say this. Like, does watching a player play for two years actually make them better, as in watching their technique? But if you're in the NFL anyway you already have coaches that coach you on that kind of thing all the time. I mean, I've seen Tiger Woods hit a golf ball many times before, but I can't do what he does by just looking at him. Look at Tony Romo: just by the way he handles himself in the pocket you can tell that he didn't learn a whole bunch from Drew Bledsoe.

I think in River's situation he had a combination of natural skill, time, a good coaching staff, and a running game that can be depended on more than the passing game (not to mention a good defense as well). And, from what I've seen, his team is well rounded enough so that he does not have to force balls into awkard coverages to make some plays, something you see rookies on bad teams like Matt Leinart and Vince Young do all the time.

Either way, San Diego lucked out with his play this year.

CUTLER ERA COMING?
Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that the Broncos are likely to bench quarterback Jake Plummer and go with first-round rookie Jay Cutler on December 3.

Per Schefter, the Broncos would have made the switch from Plummer to Cutler for Thursday night's game at Kansas City, but with only four days between games there wasn't enough time to get him ready.

Broncos coach Mike Shanahan previously said that Cutler would not play this year. But with the Broncos out of first place after a loss at home to the Chargers, Shanahan apparently has realized that Plummer has taken the team as far as he can.

I think it's more the intangibles like how he conducts himself, good habits to get into like knowing what to look for when watching film, stuff like that. Brees isn't the most naturally gifted QB but he's made the most of what he has through hard work, stuff like that can rub off.

He was thought of as the most NFL ready QB to come out in that draft, so its not suprising i guess. It also helps when you have Tomlinson in your backfield. Takes a whole lot of pressure off. Trust me, no one is really game planning Rivers that hard. They're gameplanning the hell out of Tomlinson.

Agreed. Although Eli didn't play until the last 3 or 4 games of his rookie season, he has had a full season last year and will have a full season this year. I think at this point he should be maturing to the point of a good NFL QB, if he has that ability. I'm beginning to think he doesn't have that because of his play lately but I can always hold out hope.

For what its worth, I think that the Giants coaching staff could use an overhaul, which may contribute to his progress. Who knows?

I think the Chargers are better then the Colts. So hopefully we dont have to. But i like how are defense is starting to come along and we'll have the greatest FS ever to live back and healthy by then. Bob F'ing Sanders. Lights out aint got shit on Bobby Sanders tbh. Cept for some steroids.

I'll tell you what. Our offense has major problems with the 3-4 sometimes. We're gunna have to look at that problem. Thats kinda why i didnt mind losing to the Cowboys. They play the 3-4 and woke us up early with it. I'm pretty sure my Colts will be prepared this year for the playoffs. Its not gunna be one of these " not showing up til the second half " games.

I think 3 teams can beat Indy in the AFC playoffs. New England, Chargers, and the Ravens. But you have to remember. We can beat them too. Right now, the AFC is wide open. Theirs so many good teams around the same area. Colts have the best record and they have the wins to back it up, but that havent really show any reason to think that they are better then the Chargers right now. This Charger team is stacked. They're tough.

I hope when this game is over, we get to see Joey Harrington jumping around the lockeroom screaming " Where's your John Kitna now!!! " over and over agains, but we'll probably just see him " prancing " around the lockeroom looking at black cocks.

ROFL@ how predictable that interception he threw at the end of the half. As soon as they got the ball down there, i could see it coming. The announcer where already cueing up the fact that he suffers lapses. They knew it was coming and then it happend. LOL I was laughing so hard i almost choked on dinner roll.

Yeah, their last two big wins (Denver, Cinci), were without Lights Out, and I think Castillo was out then too.

Know what rules? Castillo dropped to them in the draft due to Steroids. So haha, they're all juiced over there.

You're calling me an idiot? Your chemically destroyed, mongoloid brain thinks that he's tough because he was sent back on the field.

1: I repeat, and maybe you will follow this time if I type slowly: If you don't know how bad you're hurt, you won't think about it.
2: If he was hurt that badly, he'd have been held out. They didn't know he had a ruptured spleen, because his injury wasn't bad enough to indicate ruptured spleen. Had they known, he'd have known, and he wouldn't have played. End of story.

Now keep frothing at the mouth, you spazz. And keep telling me how stupid I am in your intelligent, witty way.

Chris Simms is a faggot.

But then, what do you know of football? You think Bob Sanders is the best player in the NFL and you thought nobody could beat the Colts before the Cowboys game.
