Apparently tonight's NXT show had a bait-and-switch done for one of the title matches and made the #1 contender's match from the week prior moot in the end.

Even had their own mystery masked guy show up and laughed at reading it happening around the same time as the masked time keeper bit on AEW's show. Got a chuckle out of that even though it very likely wasn't intentional at all.
