Even if it would have messed up plans later in the year, Gedo really should have let EVIL's big push simmer for a couple more months before the trigger got pulled.

Missing out on several months worth of shows has hurt NJPW a lot and EVIL isn't the type to do long drawn out style IWGP title matches, especially with BC shenanigans included.
