I was led to believe that AEW was slaughtering NXT with young people, but it’s only in the 18-49. In the 18-34 they are basically square (the week before this was like a 0.15 to a 0.14). Lots of spin to make AEW look hotter ticket than it really is.

Not horrible numbers compared to the rest of television, but some sneaky wording to try and make one look like it’s way ahead of the other.
It also took NXT needing to appear on main roster programming, being included in the Survivor Series build, and hype of main roster invading NXT to bring the numbers that close though.

AEW might push the gap wider next week due to them coming off from a PPV and NXT unlikely having a big notable main roster star showing up due to the European tour.

The week after is likely when NXT beats AEW for the first time since that is the Survivor Series go-home show for all three WWE brands, NXT's go-home show for their own War Games event, and very likely when the big main roster invasion of NXT happens.

AEW might get a PPV bump, but honestly, I’m not sure enough people give a shit about it. I think NXT have turned this thing around on them.
