Yeah the Ohio St. thing was fucked up. I don't think they'll ever give the death penalty again. Louisville would have gotten one if they were I think.

The problem is that people are just desperate to see it happen again just because it's there and hasn't been done since SMU; even going as far as to try to call for it with stuff that had nothing to do with the program at large being cheaters (such as the Penn State/Sandusky thing).

Southern Methodist was just so damned brazenabout recriutment violations it that it was needed in their case, because it was like they were daring someone to do something about it.
