Top stars in NXT make around 50-60,000, which is a nice income, but not enough to be able to buy your mom a new house at a moment's notice.

I make almost 60k a year at my insurance gig. It's not luxurious salary at all

Plus having to quickly replace personal stuff lost in the fire. Even with fire insurance, that's still a sizable amount of money needed to get life back to normal.
