Because people thinks it makes them appear comprehensive and lofty to go "but did you think of this?" and not realize how little it has to do with the actual situation and people's perspectives. But he also admitted to studying the liberal arts at college, and he called it "retarded," so I guess that's pretty much him admitting his educational level of attainment is "retarded."
