When was the last time the NBA had a possible Cinderella-esque team in the NBA Finals, 09 with the Magic? 2000 with the Knicks in terms of seeds?

Raptors are #2 seed in the East but the way the media's treated them, you'd think they were a lot lower.

They also were only a game out of the first seed. Also played better against Conference teams than Cleve did.
