So it's legal to shove a member of the receiving team into the ball so that the kicking team can recover a live ball? Didn't realize that.

He instigated the contact. So, he shoved himself into the ball by trying to block the Eagles player for some unknown reason.

He wasn't going to accomplish anything if he had gotten to the ball he would have been tackled for no gain. He was just there to be an asshole and he paid for it.
