MLB 2010-2011 Off Season Thread

I guess the thing that just irks me about the Jeter drama is the writers trying to make non-stories out of it. Who cares if they are $50 million and three years apart? Jeter is one of the few players in baseball that I doubt would have accepted an offer from any other team. Another team could have offered him an exact duplicate of A-Rod's contract and he would probably still turn it down.

I guess that's the problem with baseball writing in general at this point. So many bullshit stories. It seems like writers just cause blind speculation in hopes that they are right so they can say they were the first to report it. We'll see tons of it in the Winter Meetings.
