Blue Jays aquire Miguel Olivo from the Rockies for cash or PTBNL. And shortly after, they declined his option.

Hmmm. Bit of a head scratcher.

The Blue Jays will get a draft pick for him if another team signs him. They pretty much bought an extra pick in the draft.
