Xbox Live's Major Nelson had Infinity Ward "creative strategist" Robert Bowling on his podcast recently to talk about the upcoming Resurgence Map Pack for Modern Warfare 2. Set to release on June 3 on Xbox Live, the pack will be priced at 1200 ($15) -- the same as its predecessor, the Stimulus Pack. Resurgence will feature maps old and new, including two Call of Duty 4 maps and three new locations:
  • Vacant -- the wide open Russian office complex from CoD4
  • Strike -- the urban town surrounded by hotels from CoD4
  • Carnival -- an abandoned carnival area with a Ferris wheel, fun house and other attractions
  • Trailer Park -- full of "super tight corridors" and featuring a pool ("Mobile Estates," Bowling calls it)
  • Fuel -- a "sniper haven" based in and around an oil refinery
Bowling says that the new maps will be tied to specific playlists, just like the Stimulus maps. With the Resurgence collection, however, it's possible that all of the maps will be available in every playlist, as long as "demand is high." And, as with the previous pack, the new maps will be exclusive to Xbox 360 for a short time before coming to PC and PS3.

Pretty happy shipment isn't in, but Strike is probably my least favourite urban map from COD4. Still, leagues better

They are not easy to get in any aspect, you have to be in the zone and have a fair amount of luck and hopefully retarded enemies that dont shoot down air support.

We have

Thermal (I have stopped using it, I fucking hate it now)
Heartbeat Sensors
OMALOL (one man army, two noob tunes, repeat)
Commando (rocket boots + heat seaking knife)
Danger Close (oh yes, because a perk can increase blast radius by 1.4x

and now, the fucking kicker...

There is a patch, that makes the stinger and AT4H has around a 10% chance to miss even when fucking locked in.

I fired 4 shots at a Pavelow tonight before I even hit it fucking once.

This game is very quickly going in the shitter, hopefully the next one isnt this fucked up.

Each of those have easy counters though except Danger close. I agree with that patch completely about the stinger and AT4H. Those are the biggest noob guns in the game, all you have to do is look up, lock on, and pull the trigger and you have taken out someone's 7,9,11 kill streak with ease. Should be like COD4 where all you had was the unguided RPG to deal with choppers and the such. I've been using it lately trying to get all the multi-kills for it, and it really isn't that difficult to take down harriers and pavelows with. Just takes a little skill.

shooting down some of these aircrafts are too damn easy. If anything, this'll teach people to pack anti-air. Me and a buddy ALWAYS have anti-air on us, and between the two of use we shoot down chopper gunners and AC-130's in about 5 seconds after spotting them.

But I beg to differ about all of those having counters. Commando and that fucking head seeking knife has no counter. I cant tell you how often i have pumped bullets into a players chest, just to get knifed and insta-killed. Not even in Halo, which is based in a fictional universe in outer fucking space, is a melee kill a one shot deal from the front.

Knife>guns/bullets in this game.
