How do you blame a company for hacks? If someone posts some weird HTML on here, and it messes things up a bit, IE Hasney or Xero, do you get mad at Trips?

Javelin/Care Package Glitches

Javelindom is loooooong gone. And I haven't seen anything about CP glitching since the last patch.

And they arent? Charging a subscription for a game that we already have to pay another fee to play anyway isnt evil? And what do/would we get by paying this user fee? a few maps once a year? which are already overpriced as is?

This is one of the stupidest things I've ever seen you post. No it isn't fucking evil. Rape is evil. Genocide is evil. Monthly game subscriptions, not so much. And again, you're getting mad about something that COULD happen.

I agree totally and am happy we are on the same page, but it would be better if they did something about it BEFORE the game came out. Have betas, have playtesters TRYING to find glitches and things before they put the game out on the market. I am sure with a couple hundred hours of play among a dozen people they could easily find alot of the bugs in the game

They had an internal beta. and of course they have playtesters. That's the fucking purpose of playtesters. Playtesters don't sit around and go through the game leisurely, they try to break it, make it fuck up, etc.. That's how bugs are found. And dude, we're not talking some 8 bit sidescroller here. It's a huge, intricate game, and they're only human. Stuff will slip through the cracks.

I cant believe for a second that you only ever encountered one glitcher as I am sure you played during teh care package hell, tell me you didnt see Usain Bolt running around the map knifing people or air support from about 15 seconds in until the match ended or killing someone and not seeing a killcam because of the javelin glitch.

lol it's the truth buddy. The only glitcher I ever saw was using Javelindom, and I saw him doing it, and never got killed by it. I never noticed the care package glitch. Not saying it didn't happen to me, but I didn't notice it (and I'd assume I would've, considering how OMGWTF GAMEBREAKING it was). The speed thing, nope, unless you're talking about M/L/C, which is not a glitch at all.

I know no penalty is doled out, but look at the sales of this game. (I checked today its 1400 points for 19.99 so around $18 for the maps) But at $18 a pop for say half of the games sold (and Im being generous as closer to 80% will likely get it) That would be $18 x 7,500,000 copies (It sold 7.5 in the first day, so I am being more then fair here) Which works out to be $135 million dollars. Seeing as 2 maps are pre-existing, the profit per map is $45 million each
