Nah, I disagree. If you have a terrible K/D ratio you are pretty much a liability to your team...especially if you mainly play Team Deathmatch (like I do).

Just tried a Free-for-All game. Was killed like 7 times in a 3 minute span.

Maybe you should stop moving so much and support your team via recon and cover fire. Also try out the objective games to learn the maps faster. Also in obj. games K/D doesn't matter and you can score big no matter your deaths.

I'm guessing you move wrong and/or don't know how to use line of sight perspective to your advantage. My initial advice to this is to play like a paranoid cripple. Overreaction helps in this game.

K/D means nothing in other modes though - I came first in the winning team in a Domination match earlier on today despite having the most deaths on the entire team.

And quite frankly, I couldn't care less about score, kills, whatever - I play it to have fun. The only time I don't enjoy it was when I get tossed into the meat grinder and start getting gunned down every 10 seconds.

That's kinda what it feels like.

It's alright though, sooner or later I'll have a "breakout game". I was pretty terrible in MW1 and World at War for ages as well, then I just put together one or two really good games and I feel good no matter how much I might suck in the future.
