I played some ground war today and didnt have a problem. Yesterday I was having the crack head syndrome in TDM but when I switched into 3rd person it was fine.

Bailout definitely looks like my favorite, Salvage I dont think I will like too much though dont know why and Storm I am unsure about, just looks too confined though I did like Vacant in COD4

Salvage looks terrible. Like seriously a subpar map design for any FPS created in the year 2009/10. I'm not being cynical or overly dramatic, either.

Downpour is awful. Not even a huge fan of Overgrown. Wish Bog or Vacant would come back.

Vacant was terrible at times except TDM. Domination was horrible because if you got trapped defending C, their whole team could easily pin you in there and fire noobtubes and grenades in.

Otherwise the SMG/Shotgun goodness it brought was great.

Bog I found annoying at times to be honest, there is nothing you can continually do and do good, medium range you will get screwed by snipers, short you will get killed by medium, the map is a clusterfuck whenever I played it.

Overgrown was hateful as fuck people people kept glitching into the ground in the trench but overall I loved it when people didnt.

I tend to prefer maps that favour wide open combat, and bog was perfect for that. Loved sniping on it, or flanking all around and getting behind the other team.

Sniping was great on there, until people started with the noobtubes.

It wasnt a bad map, just I prefer doing one thing the whole match and you couldnt do it on Bog and stay alive long.

I always found laying on the side of the hill in the middle with the dragonuv and sniping the spawn I did the best.

airstrikes and choppers were much more lethal though in MW....but then again, everything was because that game focused more on realism and less on forgiveness (surving claymores) and noob perks

Oh the claymore bullshit in this game has always pissed me off. Let me just list things that counter and make your claymore useless.

Scrambler Pro
Sitrep
Lightweight
Blast Shield

All of those are pretty obvious, and are okay in my book. Still a little too many counters though.

Marathon
Painkiller
Running w/o marathon or lightweight
Jumping
Commando

These on the other hand are just ridiculous and irritate the piss out of me every time. Would love to get a patch that ups the damage and radius of claymores.

Nothing pisses me off more then some ass Hoganing the claymore, sprinting up and shotgunning you.

Perhaps noobtubes, but thats another story.

i dunno, when i did my run with claymores, i racked in the challenges pretty quick. maybe this was before everyone knew how to really counter them or something.

Does anyone know if you can reset your stats back to 0?

My wifes nephew comes over alot and apparently while I have been at work he has been on playing my Modern Warfare 2 game online. Now Im one of those people who hates it when people get achievements for me. If its my file then I want to be the one who gets the shit. Well turns out that he has raised me like 10 levels and knocked a bunch of awards out for me and im a little pissed.

Is there no way to reset this?

You can delete game history from your dashboard, I cant remember how exactly but its possible.

I am not sure if that resets the achievement score though.

Or you could just get on with your life and not worry about it since achievements don't MEAN anything, and you can still complete challenges again (not the achievements, but the challenges themselves) each prestige.

March 26, 2010 - Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling says the developer was not responsible for the unusually high price of the Stimulus Package, the first downloadable map pack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Bowling told IGN it's up to publisher Activision on what to ultimately charge gamers for downloadable content (DLC).

"Activision sets the pricing for downloadable content," Bowling explained. "It's our job on the Infinity Ward side to focus on the creative aspect of the Stimulus Package, such as the art, creation, the direction of the DLC and the content as a whole."

The pack will be released first on Xbox Live next Tuesday for 1200 Microsoft points ($15) and contains five maps, two of which already appeared in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. A pack of three new multiplayer maps has traditionally cost 800 Microsoft points ($10).

"Personally, as someone who plays a lot of Modern Warfare 2, having the option to get additional content for the multiplayer that adds a lot of mileage to my online playtime is fantastic," Bowling added. "Especially the maps in The Stimulus Package that I know will give me, personally, endless more hours online and that's something that's worth it to me."

Activision has not announced the release date for the PlayStation 3 and PC versions of the Stimulus Package.
