March 3, 2009 First COD6 Details ![]() Infinity ward has leaked some info on the new COD6. As im sure you know the next COD6 takes place again in the Modern Warfare world. Here is the leaked information Click Jump to view leaked info *Vehicles will be in MW2 *M16 will return, using stopping power will only be OHK at head, neck, and torso (abdomen, limbs, and hands/feet will not) *Ak47 and M4 will return, unknown if there are any changes *M40 will return, ACOG damage boost will be fixed *Scorpion, P90, M21, R700, G3, G360 will not return *There are more unknown weapons that will not return *New sniper rifle: SR25M (United states forces) *New Assault rifle: Diemeco C8 (Canadian forces M4 equivelant) *New Assault rifle: L85A2 (United Kingdom forces) *Total weapons in multiplayer are said to be around 35 *Favourite Modern warfare 1 maps will return *Helicopters, air strikes, UAV will return *Red dot sightings will come in different shapes for multiplayer (circular, square, original) *Snipers will have special grass camouflage (As seen in Modern warfare 1’s campaign) *All perks will return from MW except eavesdrop and others will be altered *All gametypes will return from MW and all will have hardcore versions *New gametype: Secure (Call of duty version of capture the flag, however you capture the enemy’s Intel) *New gametype unconfirmed name, similar to search and destroy, however instead of trying to plant a bomb, you try to kill a specified enemy *Solider customization for each class (and each country) *Sniper with silencers will NOT be in multiplayer *There are NO bots in local multiplayer *Similar version to Nazi Zombies, however details are unknown *NO guest players online, 1 player per console *Killcam save feature *There is blood and gore *Offline/Online Co-op *Story takes place in the Middle East *Role as US marines return *Ken Lally voice work in campaign *Release is set for sometime in November *New army tags will be available to add different elements in campaign (similar to halo skulls) *Campaign-only weapons YAY for returning maps and uav/airstrike/heli. ![]() Last edited by G; 10-10-2009 at 07:55 PM. |

They could do somethings so it wouldn't be completely overpowered, like they could have made it so if you put a silencer on your rifle, you can't use a uav jammer, or only get 1 claymore or you lose a perk slot like when you use grenades on guns.

They missed the boat witht he ghille suit in the sniper mission and not having it in multiplayer as an option in create a class. Nice to see it makes it in.
Kinda sucks they're gonna dumb down the stopping power on the M16. Unless they got mad hate mail on it, I hope that juggernaut gets affected as well so it gets balanced out in the long run. |

I've heard of people using "accuracy chips" or some shit on the PS3 version. And people exploiting map areas out of the general areas where you can't see them, like way off the screen. Don't know if it's bullshit or not, but a lot of cheating rumors go around.

Personally, I can do without any of the Perks. They're gay and make the game more arcadey than any Halo or other similarly 'non-realistic' shooter. And if their must be Perks, keep them logical. That shit where you drop a grenade upon death is newb any way you out it. Newb shit to the max. Why should you be rewarded - upon death - with a grenade drop that will at the very least rock your killer or whoever is around. Why? Whose idea was that? Then there's shooting why laying on the ground 'dying'. This should be a default ability and it doesn't even constitute as something to be turned on or off.
Like I said, I rather abolish Perks in general. But if they must be there, the stupid shit that adds nothing to the game/meta-game/strats of CoD4 can go. |

Kalyx is off his rocker. Perks are awesome. Also, Martyrdom is excellent for objective based games. Wouldn't use it in kill based games, but in domination or headquarters, it's too useful a tool not to use it.
