Final fantasy 7 rebirth
sigh... so many thoughts on this. Number one being i have NEVER been so angry at a game for force feeding me f*cking tutorials. One hundred hours into this game I shouldn't be getting a tutorial for another God damb minigame about gizmos and gadgets and whatever the fuck. Good lord.

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO REMAKE A LEGENDARY GAME WITHOUT CHEAPENING IT. Remake Final Fantasy 8 for fuck's sake. My god.

I LOVE the music. It's the best part of the game by far

They did a good job of illustrating how ugly ass mako pipelines destroyed the natural beauty of the world

Overall i did as much as i could while reaching my wits end.

I think ff7r is utter dog shit. Combat is shit. Reimagined story is shit. Missions are shit. I was never big on ff7 to begin with though. Fine enough but id take 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, and 13 over it no question. Game looks and sounds great though.

I fucking hate the combat and I hate how every final fantasy game since 2009 has used "stagger" mechanic. At this point I hate any game where hundreds of numbers fly all over the screen. They become meaningless

Haven't played a Final Fantasy since FFX..... pretty sure I'd hate all modern ones.... didn't even really enjoy FFX....

I replayed ffx and liked it more than the first time I played it. The combat is maybe the best in the main series and the game slows to a fukking crawl every time the story starts getting good

I like 10 a lot. Combat and leveling are A+. Characters are decent. Story is mid. But leveling systems are what draws me in the most and 10 is outstanding with tons of optional challenges that are a blast if you dont cheese. Plus blitzball is a great time.


Some of the weapon requirements are F tier though.
