Rate the Game: Week 55
So 5 weeks into the new era of Rate the Game, huh? How have things been going so far? How's it been treating you? Well we crowned a new number one so that's something. How about last week's Dead Rising? How does it fare as we stack up it's average against the rest of the leaderboard? Let's do the match and do that pulldown menu thing!
Well, it's a pretty far trip to get to the spot that Dead Rising claims as it's own as it secures the number 47 spot with an average of 2.71. Ghosts n' Goblins is pretty safe at the bottom of the heap as Frank West's quest for survival is still enjoyable enough to not land dead last. Hahah, see what I did there? LAUGH, DAMN IT! Anyways, let's move on to the new hotness as we dive into the bowl and pull out a new game. Let's go to the .gif! And here we go! Our game to rate this week takes us back to the PlayStation past with the original Crash Bandicoot on the original PlayStation! This is another one where I feel bad about leaving out of the first set of fifty. Nonetheless we all have the task of assigning this bad boy a rating! Was it a fun and enjoyable outing? Did it make Crash deserving to be a mascot on the same level as Mario and Sonic and Bill Gates? Was it a poor attempt? Let us know with the poll and your comments! Enjoy your week! No matter what may happen to me, just remember Lzzy Hale gave me the bedroom eyes... ...again. |

The game itself was alright. But, it get the ball rolling on what gaming would be today. Games go from cartridges to CDs. And Sony being a force in the gaming and consumer electronics industry.
I'll give it a 3. |

Definitely a major thing I remember during all of this hubbub surrounding the PlayStation was all of the commercials with the dude in the Crash suit. Those were pretty funny and I was really high on wanting a PlayStation because of them.

I have a few memories of it, something about chasing a boss around in an electricty place and thinking the Wumpa fruit looked really yummy. I may be thinking of gex tho

Meant to give it a 4 instead of a three.
Crash was good as a kid but extremely hard. I never beat the game but I would constantly play it. Honestly, it would be a 5 if Mario didn't exist but it does and Mario is better. |

I have to say that as a kid, if a video game mascot had come crashing into my front yard that'd have been the greatest day of my life.
