It wasn’t his auntie, he clearly states it was his dad’s sister.

I've seen all but #4. They are pretty crazy. I remember ordering FMW and Big Japan comp videos off tape list in the late 90s

FMW episode was a lot better than I thought it would be.
Onita is a cartoonishly nefarious Jap... Terry Funk is just a sweet little old man now... damn |

Johnny K-9 episode this week. Had no idea who he was and I just read his Wikipedia entry. Holy shit I am all in on this episode.

He wrestled in my city quite a bit for Border City Wrestling. I have a couple friends who worked and hung out with him. Everytime I've asked about him their immediate response is "dude, you wouldn't believe it of I told you". I know AL Snow has some stories and I hope he's on.
This episode is going to be incredible. |

I have been waiting for this since he was profiled in a Crime In Sports podcast long before they decided to profile him on DSOTR. They got two or three hours out of him and it was just wild. This will easily be one of the better episodes if they have lined up any of his old biker gang.
I’m excited for it. |

Me neither. Had no idea who was. What a life. Honest to god shocked to find out he only died recently. Given how the story was going i was surprised he made it to 2000. This was one of the better eps this season.

That was a fantastic episode.
It had the best manly wife so far, the most reasonable ex cop, some ex biker said “That Hulk Hogan fella” to prove he knew his stuff and Lance Storm fucking cried! Lots of great re-enactments too. Truly an episode to savour. |

Man that was so good...
They really need to do an episode on Chyna at some point. I’m not sure why they haven’t yet. They would easily fill two episodes with that topic. |

I am just thinking about episodes for further seasons...
Rob Feinstein/Ring of Honor: To Catch a Predator - this is a huge story that seems to have been lost in time, let's dig this dirt up! I'd love to see a good story on the origins of ROH as well. ECW - Very broad topic that could probably be an entire season let alone a double episode. I'd like to see The Darkside guys spin on ECW. Zandig - Obviously a niche choice and very unlikely but this guy is fucking interesting. I don't know a lot about him but I do know the story where they tried to interview him for Nick Gage or someone else. Dude is insane and probably has a lot of horror stories. Hulk Hogan - He's just a giant fraud so a big expose shitting on him would probably be really fun to watch. CM Punk - Not likely to happen now that he's in AEW but I could see a CM Punk/WWE medical story episode. |

It's obscure but I'd love them to take a deep dive into the Inoki vs Muhammad Ali match and all the shenanigans.

Is it obscure?
I don’t need any more wasted episodes. Let’s get to the meat of it. Plane crashes are more interesting than plane rides from hell. Ric Flair could win all of his sympathy back in one episode. |

It’s pretty famous in wrestling circles, but are you going to tell me “World’s Most Famous Athlete Has Career Ruined By Japan’s Most Famous Knee Kicker” isn’t a story? If so, I question your judgment.

Chuck Wepner is still alive and he fought Andre that night. Different location. Inoki is still kicking. Stan Hansen is alive and well. Ivan Putski and Kevin Sullivan. There's pieces of the puzzle still remaining

I think there’s a decent argument that Ali is the most famous athlete in the history of the world. You can’t tell his story without talking about how Inoki fucked up his legs

Pretty sure this won't happen until after Hogan is dead. Then, we're guaranteed to have at least three different docs about how full of shit he was outside of also being a worldwide pop culture phenomenon.
