I see he wants Fei Long to be his main but my conclusion on Fei Long is that HE FUCKING SUCKS AND HAS NO VIABLE ATTACKS. I'm not speaking in a tier sense or any shit like that, either. His move list is just weak and I'm not 'afraid' of him at all. His fire spin kick thingy has ass range and is good for 'panicked last resort' at best. His dash punch doesn't have the speed and range of his HDRemix self. His special throw is a 'screenshot move'. And they didn't even give him an overhead normal for all his trouble. Flashy Ultra, though.

Had my first online session since may, with funky. From the beginning, it showed. Was getting my ass handed to me, but when I got down to 1-5, I got back into the swing of things and ended up going 9-7 when it was all over. Feels good, cause I thought he was gonna walk all over me.

Oh, and sorry roxy. Having not played in so long, I didn't want to play one of the strongest players here right off the bat.

See, I set it to same skill too. I've only played like 12 matches online and went from 0-84-44 BP. I have been matched with 1800+ BP people constantly. Nothing like getting slaughtered while trying to learn the game.

Funny thing about last night, I played 3 of our tourney guys, 2 of whom I played before a long time ago. First time I played Roxer and Fig I got slaughtered. Last night, facing them again I did alright, even though I came out losing the series both times. My strategies fell apart when I played Roxer waaay back, then I got totally demoralized and couldn't do shit. Jeanpunchfest '09 round 1 against Figburt was a disaster too. As I recall, I couldn't keep my cool and kept getting caught off guard. Massive slaughter, like 1-10.

Also, I need to stop playing Zangief. Try as I might, I cannot use him consistently, even though I actually like him.

Also also, thecc is probably going into this tourney mad underrated. He's gonna surprise some of you.

INTENSE session with roxer just now. Lost the series 9-10, but I'm liking where this is going. His akuma still destroys most of my characters, but my abel is starting to get through and pick up some rounds. And his fei long isn't giving my blanka and abel the trouble he was before. Should have used my honda more tho, as he's one of my main guys.

Yeah, I guess I'll give this a shot. Like a few people here, I've not played in a few months so I'll have to get some practice in starting today.

I've been having trouble with my connection recently but I cleared my cache. That should help my connection, right? I heard it would.

All weekend we'll have a scrimmage basically. Go on, fight against others and post about it here. Maybe even open up a party chat and get a few people in.

Also, it gives you a chance to bitch about your seeding if you feel it's too low after beating a few people.

It looks like the top 4 seeds are getting a few byes so you might wanna chime in and say you deserve the 4 spot.
