The Cubs are only 3.5 games back right now. I'm going to the Reds Cubs game on the 24th. Hopefully they arent eliminated by then, but who am i kidding right?

I was watching (well, I turned it on while I was doing dishes etc) the Jays game, and when it ended I flipped over to the Rays/Orioles game in time to see the extra innings. First pitch and he just crushed it. Pretty impressive.

I wouldn't say so. Harvey's clearly been better so far, but more importantly he's had much better numbers than Strasburg had at this point in his career. While saying he's better overall might be difficult because Strasburg's got more time under his belt - it's fair to compare the two since they're the same age and have similar repertoires including high heat and fucking nasty breaking pitches. I look forward to them dueling for years to come.

I do wonder about Strasburg's mechanics over the long term. Feel like he'll eventually have to adapt to a more normal pitching motion or else he's bound to get hurt again or go the way of Tim Lincecum (why the FUCK did I pick him for Comeback Player of the Year?).
