That's the direction Cole needs to go seriously.

Danielson's in ring charisma > Danielson's mic skills. Holy fuck on that back first slam into the announce table. And the Heel Hook was a thing of beauty.

Assuming they don't do some sort of tournament with the rookies, I could see them holding off on Danielson vs Miz until the end of the season.

That was a solid show, with a great main event. Hard to believe the NXT is almost getting talked about more than RAW, SD, and ppv's combined. Cole was pretty funny, and definitely anti-IWC. And Danielson looked great out there. I have high hopes for this show now.

Honestly I like the route they've gone with the show itself. It feels like a regular wrestling show with a gimmick, not a reality show.

Was worried it was going to be some bullshit like Tough Enough.

I'm pleasantly surprised with all the offense they gave Danielson. It was pretty 50-50. Hopefully this means they're serious with him.

Loved the show! I had high hopes for this first episode and it delievered on everything. Dragon and Miz is going to be awesome to watch over however many weeks the season goes. Also being able to see Dragon v. Jericho in a well contested match was great!

Punk was hilarious.

Otunga has really got my eye. His vignette was one of the better ones I had seen in a while. Seems very well polished on the mic. Wish I could have seen more in the ring, but he's def got "it".

Can't wait for Justin Gabriel next week. NXT will def be getting my ratings from here on out!

I thought NXT was alright, though I'm going to watch it on TV on Thursday so I can gain a proper opinion on it.

Couldn't really do that as my stream didn't start until five minutes into the show and it had really bad lag and the people in the chat were idiots.

Basically, my stream sucked.

Seemed like they are giving these rookies very little up front and letting them sort of "do it yourself".

Like barrett defintely was shooting from the hip and was not repeating what a writer told him, same for Bryan.

Is it just me, or does it seem like the whole point of this "season" of NXT is to establish Daniel Bryan. They pushed Bryan the entire show.

I think Daniel is going to be a huge focal point of the show as a whole, but I can definitely see them highlighting a different guy each week.

not bad for a new wwe series danielson was impressive not a stiff on the mic as i expected.
