Cody shared a thing on Twitter touting an upcoming series called AEW: Dark on the company YouTube channel that will showcase dark matches and segments from Dynamite. It will be hosted by Tony Schiavone.

I like that this will be an official thing from the company, rather than hearing about sweet matches and only maybe being able to see them somewhere eventually. Plus it's a good way to push subscribers to their YouTube so people can see the "Road to" videos they've been making.

Matt Jackson also mentioned recently that the whole wins-loss thing will also count there so its gives some added incentive for people to watch the show.

Seems AEW realized they goofed up with the "ref discretion" stuff in the 6-man tag match main event and tweaking their "rules" so it doesn't come off as odd in the future.



Between this and other stuff they've been open about, AEW is a lot more aware of mistakes they make and wanting to fix it instead of being extremely stubborn and dragging their feet on making changes for the better like WWE.

Had MLB scheduled Nats-Dodgers game for 8:45pm or 9pm, AEW likely completely avoids that situation.

As is, its a very tight window between games. Cards-Braves Game 4 went 4 hours due to extra innings but Game 3 was 3:22 and within the window of time tomorrow's game has.

Game 1 starts at 5:05 with game 2 scheduled for 8:35. If game 1 goes longer TNT gets Game 2 til game 1 is over which means AEW gets interrupted.

I don't think they will interrupt on the 2nd week of AEW it's too precious of a time to jeopardize their rating. Turner has plenty of options for casting on other channels and I have faith they don't fuck over AEW tonight. Maybe in the future, but not this soon.

AEW seems to be working off the "lean startup model." It centers around putting forth a minimum viable product that you make available to consumers - then you take their feedback and pivot/evolve depending on the demands of the market.

So, they're aware while their show is of the necessary quality to exist - and find some success - on television--it's a continual work of progress that requires continual assessment and adjustments.

Whereas, the WWE just does shit the same old way, like most legacy brands.

Shit I didn’t think of the playoffs. Dammit.

First game starts at 5 and the second at 8:30. But playoff baseball takes forever, especially a decisive game 5 with probably a billion pitching changes.

Yeah AEW’s definitely getting bumped. Maybe they switch over to TCM.
