it's kinda wonky, you basically pick a row, then a column, then a row. the nice thing is, the timer doesn't start until after you make your first click, so it gives you time to plan out your moves

Unless I fully restart my Xbox, no music in the game plays. I just found out yesterday there is music in Afterlife ffs. Hopefully they fix this, kinda a music nerd and wanna hear some shit.... |

Been working closely with CDPR the past week on the audio issue.
Gave them authorization today to load into my save games from the cloud after requesting through Microsoft. So far I think I figured it out. if I am playing, and I go to any other app or game on Xbox without fully "exiting" from Cyberpunk, the music anywhere in the game will fail to play until I do a full system restart. However, if I minimize to Xbox home, press menu and then close the game entirely, everything works fine 100% of the time. |

So, I snatched up the platinum on PS5 last night.
SPOILER: show I can go on and on. But, we know this game got issues. I just wished for all the hype that went into this, they sat on it and kept going for a little while longer. But, it's done. |

Its definitely playable. PC or console tho? If console, make it a PS5 or Xbox Series S/X otherwise, from my experience on One X, it was not good.
It's an okay game, but far FAR from what they said it would be. |

PLayed for about an hour on my lvl 26 stealth character. THROWING KNIVES FINALLY WORK! They come back after a few seconds of not being picked up - with cooldown being smaller on higher rarity knives.
Combat feels great, finally. It is VERY reworked any anyone who has taken a break from it, now's the time to come back. There are two secrets for PS5 and Series X players! |

A brief synopsis of what I experienced last night:
Went to a side gig to steal some shit of a Russian mobster. Got into his apartment and killed him silently with a throwing knife. Intentionally spotted by his melee bodyguard to test combat. She breaks out her mantis blades, I do the same. Typically, mantis blade fights weren't long, 1-2 hits. This was a full on fight with blocks, dodges and counters. It was great! I go to exit and find there's another guard - armed. He finds cover behind a pillar and starts firing - nice. I am not specced into any guns, so I equipped an SMG and sprayed. Missed him, but he did move to flank. Took him out and there's a fucking shootout in the lobby. Figuring it was my doing because of what I just did, I walked into the lobby armed. They gave no fucks about me and was instead a rival gang fight. The apartments were run by the Russians. and the Tyger Claws just pulled up (their car was on the sidewalk, parked in a rushed fashion) walked in and started blasting, killing everyone in the lobby. On my way to the next mission, there was a police chase that ended up with both parties getting out of their cars, running through town and having a shootout. Shit's crazy. |

Jesus. Spent my weekend only playing this game when I did play. This game is in an amazing state, finally. Had this been the condition at launch, it would have been heavily praised. Combat has felt fluid enough (finally) that I've put the game on Hard. Normal was just a slice fest, taking down most cyberpsychos in less than 10 hits. Hard makes me actually have to properly square off, counter, dodge, etc. When you do that, combat feels rewarding AF to win.

2.0!!!
I had about 2 hours to play in 2.0 last night and yeah..... the game finally feels like this is what they wanted it to be from the start.
The skill trees make more sense now. They will make you OP, eventually, but it will definitely be in the 20s before that feeling is there. Enemies are indeed smarter. Had to chase a fucking netrunner through 3 completely different, large areas in the Malestrom factory. He saw me put his chooms on ice and hauled ass, alerting others as he ran. That was cool. Weapon mods. They've COMPLETELY overhauled all mods for weapoms and it's bonkers. They actually can cause completely different behaviors on your weapons. There's some melee mod that allows you to combo up to 7 melee hits after blocking, or something like that. Anyway, it kinda reminds me of the skill runes from Diablo 3. They alter the function of the weapon, almost changing how you would use it, making it feel like a "different skill". I can finally be a bullet sponge too. There's a 2H blunt weapon skill that lets you charge into enemies and then knock them on their ass. You can also block bullets with melee weapons if you spec into it. Level 2 will deflect projectiles back at the attackers, that's fuckin cool. Netrunning seems crazy too. Not looked too much into it because I did a netrunner as my 1st playthrough. They changes though, completely different experience now. Difficulty actually feels like it means something now. I was playing on very hard and it was still a breeze. Visual overhaul!! Instantly noticeable when I started playing on my Series X. PC players absolutely MUST have a SSD to play it now. Sorry if you're an old fogie still spinning metal platters like a fuckin dj. There are 100% tons of character builds to experiment with now. It is basically a re-cored game with actual character development. I cannot wait to no-life this shit over the weekend again, like it's my 1st time. |

Grenades 2.0 are waaaaay fucking OP - if you go into the tech tree. No more having to spec to be able to craft. Tech is all about cooldowns for health and grenade items.
My 2.0 build so far is body and tech - shotgun and grenades basically. Toss it, walk into it just a bit to get some buffs from taking damage, finish them off like a hobo with a shotgun. It's pretty fucking sick. Sometimes, I forget I have infinite grenades now and won't throw them. I'll be getting pinned down, or hit pretty bad and then just chuck a few and yeah... Enemies are much more responsive now as well. They will always (in my experience) attempt to get away from the grenade, so you can flush some of them from cover. The one problem I've encountered is a known bug, where the relic glitch visual won't go away. I do recall this happening when the game launched, and after I proceeded past the into Pacifica mission, it fixed itself. Not so this time. 100% recommend a new game. It's worth it. |
