I've seen people in another thread talking about how tough the bosses are, but so far the only one that's given me any kind of real trouble at all is Killavolt.

Pretty major and as yet unpatched bug involves the end game and people unexpectedly getting negative Guardian Rank.

Oh and starting the game and bringing up the start screen feels like it takes around a full minute, and that includes 20-30 seconds of watching Claptrap's annoying ass trying to dance.

As for the one you mentioned, I just hid where he couldn't hit me, and once his armor was down I easily whittled away both his shield bars with a pistol -- a fucking PISTOL LOLOLOL |

FL4K, but not the popular build. I hid in the exact same spot you did and whittled him down with elemental pistols as well but that spot is kind of cheese and is indicative of why I said he's hard af. That spot shouldn't realistically be there. Regardless, if you venture out of cover against him it's insane. You can not ever stop moving and must keep eyes on him at all times no matter what and you have to be aware of the few spots you can use as cover from some of the moves you can't escape via running.
He's much easier with appropriate weapons though. A high fire rate smg/machine gun with corrosive and one with electrical damage. Keep running and burn through his armor with the corrosive gun, switch to electric and burn through the rest. If you have a big damage boost skill it can go FAST. Fade Away FL4K will melt him; unfortunately as I said I didn't use the popular build lol. |

As for the boss you originally mentioned all you have to do is watch the patterns on the floor and stay in the right spots, jumping around as much as possible. If you can keep off the spots he electrifies the rest of his attacks are trivial.
On another topic, I got a legendary shield drop earlier that made me die laughing. As far as I can tell it is a replica of Typhon's shield that mentions that he approves of it. Yes. I have a synthetic Vercuvian Ham. |

Most of the first few bosses I've died only once and figured it out the second time around.
Hitting a stretch now where they've become a bit easier. |

also yes more fast travel needed. Would be nice if the end of zone fast travel points that are one way were fully functional and just transported you to the checkpoint right before the boss area instead as to not break anything.

Alright, passing through bounties and bosses for a 2nd time here and there and they've all dropped orange loot. Every. Single. One.
Does this make sense? |

Apparently as part of the patch that nerfed overall loot drops, quests and mission bosses that are designed to drop a specific item are now guaranteed to drop their specific item. At least that's my understanding.
I'm farming for a diluvian firestorm grenade before they nerf it. |

I'm still dragging ass through my first playthrough. Being v thorough so I know where everything is in the future. Also gives me a chance to see a bunch of the diff specific loot drops and see which ones I want to hold off on until max level.

omg overlevelling makes some of the later bosses straight bastards unless you get lucky af on your weapon drops. I ran into a straight brick wall earlier until I managed a masterful 15 minute ballet of dodging and attacking occasionally and managed to finally win....After like 3 hours of corpse flopping.

LOL It's the one series where I love to overlevel. Finished the story finally at damn near lvl. 44 out of the current cap of 50.
Speaking of the ending, all I'll say is it left me, and I'm sure plenty of others with one big question that may or may not be answered in a DLC. |

Oh I know that, but that's the one that rests on my and I'm sure a lot of people's minds. Wanted to know if she's properly gone so that if so, I could mourn her loss and felt kinda deprived of that.
Also, I'm like one non-weapon slot away from having the idiotically named "On Fleek" trophy. Plus, it seems that dark orange rarity is back, as I got a weapon from the chest on Sanctuary that definitely had a dark orange background around it. |

I haven't seen anything about dark orange rarity anywhere. You sure it wasn't one of those new anointed guns?

Today is the 10th anniversary of the series. And to celebrate, Borderlands 3 will have in game events starting today and running for 5 weeks.
Bonus Boss Loot starts today. The major bosses of the game have an increased chance to drop their legendary. https://www.ign.com/articles/2019/10...ar-anniversary |

No, not pink rarity. I see what happened. When you get a weapon or piece of gear that's higher than your current level, the background of the image in your inventory appears as a darker shade of its rarity color.

Anointed guns aren't pink. They are also orange and have an extra class specific skill and a label that says something like "Anointed Beastmaster".

Oh OK. Well in that case I don't believe I have encountered any of those as yet. Probably will pretty soon now that I'm on Mayhem III TVHM at lvl. 50.

Cleaning up Crew Challenges before starting M3TVHM now that I'm lvl. 50.
After that, might search Moze builds and see what the best weapons and gear for said build would be. |

I did all the crew challenges as I cleared each map thankfully. Also in regards to anointed weapons, I am pretty sure the vending machine directly next to crazy earls eridium shop sells some of it.

Also, just trying to clarify, is anointed stuff weapons that drop or spawn with an light surrounding the color beam and/or does anointed stuff have anything to do with the Cult of the Vault symbol on the top middle of the stat cards? |

I think I've noticed it happening with every anointed weapon I've seen. Like blue rarity for example has the typical blue beam but anointed blue have blue beams and like an aura of light that surrounds it or something.

Took down GenIVIV and Aurelia one last time before the challenge ended. No golden guns from either. Yet, I open my first grey chest in the game and poof, there's one. Huh.
Hopefully the special enemies will be much kinder starting tomorrow. |

Seems appropriate that I got ZerŲ's trophy for killing all the Targets of Opportunity by killing Handsome Jackie, LOL.
also, holy shit, the DP Laser-Sploder wrecks everything, even on Mayhem III. Finally a dependable weapon. |

Just having some fun with the Guardian Rank XP exploit which involves dashboarding out of the game and reloading it immediately thereafter. If the maps appear out of order, that means it's working and you get like 6x normal XP.
So, because I've been trying to get Warden's legendary Freeman rocket launcher to drop, I paid him another visit and got a freaking QUADRUPLE legendary drop. Guess it's bound to happen every now and again when you go from your previous game only having like 17M weapons/gear/etc. to over 1B, but still...LOL |
