Face facts. It really, really looks like he did it. I know no one wants to think of Benoit of a murderer, but that looks like that's what happened.

yea i just read that they believe that he strangled his wife....then suffacated his son in his own bed....then hung himself in his weight room....

Also its been noted now on several websites that WWE has pulled all Benoit merchandise from the shop zone....Now if you look it up it says that the search results were for "discontinued"....and he has been pulled from the Wrestlemania DVD info....Now it says that Triple H defends his title against Shawn Michaels....

Wow....WWE is changing alot of stuff around.

Or, the wife killed him and his son.

But I think that is really stretching it. And if he was hung, suffocated, anything that required physical force, are you telling me she overpowered him and smothered him? Or beat him and then hung him?

MAYBE, him and his wife had been having a troubled relationship (to put it mildly) and he decided to kill her. So he kills her and hides her upstairs and plans on disposing of the body and trying to get away with it. So he stays home with his son like nothing is wrong. Then, the more and more he thinks about it, he realized he can't get away with it, kills his son and then himself.

But still, I gotta say, If I was in that situation. Something like I had become totally enraged with my wife and was homicidal and then I killed her. Thought it over, and then panic set in and wanted to kill myself. Even in that state of mind I don't know how somebody could kill their 7 year old son. I think I would send him to a friends house or something and kill myself while he was gone.

I don't know. Just sickening any way you look at it.

Yeah, this sounds like a SEVERE psychotic break. Just mindblowing given the type of person that Benoit was credited as being up until this weekend. My God. I wonder if he left any letters or diary of some sort that can possibly give a glimpse into his state of mind.

Truth be told, usually when a guy kills his family, it is with a weapon. When a woman kills her family it is posion or suffication. I'm not saying that it can't go either way. But it seems odd that Benoit would have do it that way when it is usually the other way around.

Yes they did. They were sadden and very shooken up. But not openly weeping, which is strange. Steph wasn't even crying. It was almost as if she was trying not to believe something she knew.

Piecing together different articles I've been reading. All speculation at this point, but apparently he was text messaging people that he was watching the PPV with his son. The sheriff's & investigators at this point are saying his wife was strangled Saturday and his son was smothered Sunday night. Then of course his hanging.

Not sure if anyone's already posted this, but there's going to be a Press Conference today to reveal the preliminary autopsy results.

And yes, even Dave Scherer of PWInsider.com is saying authorities believe that Chris Benoit strangled his wife Nancy on Saturday, then either strangled or smothered his son in his bed on Sunday, and hung himself on Monday in his weight room. This is sick.

According to an article on TMZ.com, one source told them that Benoit was text messaging friends during the airing of WWE’s Vengeance PPV this past Sunday and was possibly watching the show with his son Daniel, indicating that he may have been alive at the time.

Okay, if the report is true that he killed his wife first, then stayed at home with his son and killed him later then I think he initially only intended to kill his wife.

I think his wife was a premeditated murder and he intended on getting away with it. After it set in what he had done, I think he panicked, and then decided to kill himself and for some reason also decided it was necessary to kill his son.
