Anyways, anyone notice anything a bit off while they have been playing? I stabbed a guy 3 times with Tac Knife and he killed me in last stand.

Stick a guy with semtex, he shoots me but I dont get +100 or +250 from the Afterkill.

Also a guy not going down from 4 stopping powered Barrett shells.

This map pack was a huge waste of money. Not being able to play just team deathmatch or whatever? Lame.

This was how they handled the releasing of new maps on COD 4 so what made you think it would be any different this time around?

I have friends who are not getting the map packs just yet, so I like that I can play with them still without having to worry about if they'll be kicked from the next game or not. I remember when I got a copy of WaW from a friend to play after it had already been out for a quite awhile, it was a bitch to get thrown out of every other game because I didn't have any of the three new map packs.

Also loving the new maps btw. Especially Salvage. Second or third time playing it on domination I got my Chopper Gunner and went rip shit on the other team. Must've have gotten over 15 + kills with it.

You are correct. I was playing Crash and Overgrown for a good 2 years after they were released because of the excellent replay value. Replay value is one of, if not THE most important feature of DLC. For any game.

If these were horribly designed maps that had a tremendous amount of glitches, then these would not be worth the purchase. However, these are excellently designed and 5 hours of downtime is nothing to bitch about when considering for how long you will be playing these maps.

Hate overgrown btw. Like, with a passion, and it is the only map from the map pack that I think should have been burned with mw1.

The LAST thing MW2 needs is ANOTHER fucking camping map. That is all anyone does in it, and it is a fucking piece of shit because of it.

Also, mad underwhelmed by these maps. Bailout is the only awesome one, and I got to play it one fucking time all night.

Salvage is 'meh'. The raining one is alright. Probably the second most fun new map. Crash is alright.

Overgrown is just a piece of shit and there were way better maps they could have brought over from the first.

Let me put it this way.

I am going to be playing this game for a while, regardless of if these maps sucked or were good. The current selection of maps was getting old as fuck. Was getting bored to tears of a few of them.. So having new maps is nice, and will increase the length of time that I play this game probably.

But 1 of the maps is a piece of shit older one. 1 of the maps is 'meh', and the other 3 are decent with one of them being 'pretty fucking awesome', tbh.

So yeah, it was 'worth it' in the big picture. But really, for what you're getting, it isn't worth it.

Yeah, have to say I am getting pretty fucking sick of Karachi, Invasion and Derail.

I usually join one of those, play those three, get kicked out of a lobby and start over. Thank fuck I have only played Rust once anytime recent and that was just using my FAMAS which is beastly on that map.

Map rotation seems fucked on the pack, only played Bailout once in a few sessions.

Anyways yeah. Bailout is pretty sweet, Salvage is probs my favourite right now though, since I dig close to mid range combat. Storm is ok. Crash and Overgrown are Crash and Overgrown.

All I have heard is that Bailout is the shit, Salvage is hit or miss (great for run and gun or short/mid range, terrible for long range though) and Storm is pretty meh.

I am trying to decide if Overgrown and Bailout are worth it and since it doesnt seem to be in the rotation much, im leaning towards not getting this

Would be pretty sweet if you could choose your playlist of maps and only get into games on those maps (your teammates/friends that your playing with) if you dont feel like playing Rust/Scrapyard and only want long range such as Afghan or Wasteland and have the option to add other maps if you get bored.

Always wanted soemthing like that because I kick ass on some maps and have loads of fun on them.

Just went 59-15 my last 3 matches. I know it's bragging but for me, thats really really good. Also went 25-0 on Wasteland, but because I'm not sweet, I did not have the nuke on

I was playing on Wasteland as well, match was at 7300, I had Harriers/Gunner/Nuke set up and was sniping from the school. I saw someone in my sights and someone behind them was about to fire and someone noobtubed them

They are fine to flush someone out of a building/take out a camper like they are intended to in real life.

In scrapyard, I just go into that building on the far side and sit in the upstairs room with a vector and just sling bullets outside.
