**Rate the Music: Week 24**
Good morning. I'm in a bit of a somber mood thanks to the tragic news of yesterday, as we bid a sorrowful farewell to the Prince of Darkness, Mr. Ozzy Osbourne. Truly a legend among us.

But he gave us the gift of music, as so many composers do. How we feel about it, well, that's what this series is about. Let us carry on the tradition of expressing how music moves us, if at all, as we explore the magical tunes of the video game industry. First, how about last week's Goro's Lair from Mortal Kombat?

Are we looking at a repeat for this week's tune? Now, you may look at this week's entry and think to yourself, "Hey, there's already a Mega Man song up there on that list!" Wrong! There is a Mega Man X song up there on that list! No classic series! Plus, we'll be revisiting a lot of these games down the road anyway. With all that said, here's Blast Man Stage from Mega Man 11!





No, I didn't pick one of the old school titles. I believe we should give everything a shot. So, what do say? How much of a, uh, blast is this theme? Does it rank among the classics? I leave it up to you. Until next week!

Just wondering y you went with 11... prolly the only classic I ent played... music doesnt feelt "classic" bc the game isn't done in retro style, which makes it the only other one besides 8 to do that

Dont love the song tbh... probly need to hear it during the stage for better context...

BTW the best songs from classic megaman series I would go with are Gemini Man and Snake Man from 3, Charge Man from 5, Opening stage from 7, of Course Doctor Wily from 2,and maybe Galaxy Man from 9...

I dunno how I should grade this. It's pretty weak, and it's from a company that has made bangers.

Do I judge it on it's own or comparatively.... will have to think.

My first thought was "there was a Mega Man 11?"

Somehow I can't remember anything about this game for some reason. After looking at some screens and video, I must have thought it looked too much like a mobile game at the time and quickly lost all interest in it and forgot about it.

For the song itself, gave it a 5. Sounds very average on its own and for a series that has some really great music.

MM11 shoulda been a home run for me but i just didnt like how the movement felt...i dunno.


Any ways track isnt bad just not special. 5.
