Roman was on track to beat Goldberg for the title at WM36, but he understandably decided to stay home during the first few months of COVID. He then won the title basically as soon as he came back.
I have to think the heel turn is one of those things they always planned eventually and it probably would've happened around the same time he actually did it (SummerSlam). So it's not inconceivable he'd be two full years into the his title run by this point. Could quite easily see him actually getting to that mark as is. Dude deserves it. |
