Skyrim dumbed things down though and took away a lot of player agency. That's my biggest issue with the game. Of course, the setting in Morrowind is much better, it looks fantastical and interesting while Skyrim was boring and dull, atmosphere wise. It just made it look like any medieval fantasy game. I guess it makes sense because the location is different, but they could've still spiced it up. A snowy region doesn't need to look so drab.
