The guest stars are the best selling individual characters, so they’re likely not going away any time soon.

I don’t mind them one bit as Netherealm always does a great job giving them a fun, creative move set. I’ve never been of the mindset that this character or that character has to be in the game. As long as the characters they put in are fun to use, I’m okay with whatever roster they come up with.
