Question: is there a difference in interface?

Legit asking, as I use VRV channels for each. I mean like, for example, is switching dub/sub an on-the-fly option in its own app like it is on DVD, or is it something not worth doing unless you have separate subscriptions? I'm mainly curious to see if I'm leaving something on the table that's specialized by taking the all-in-one route instead of individual sign-ups.
