Just read an interview with Sam L Jackson. It's old, from like 2012, but in it he says he really wants to be in the new star wars movies. Either as a spirit or a one armed jedi who survived his death scene in Revenge.

I would love to see him return and have it revealed he survived. Just this grizzled old one arm veteran who is still a legit badass jedi after all this time. They'd probably have to use make up and stuff to make him look older, but whatever, they could do it.
