In real life, a gun is a gun. If you get shot, you get shot. Fuck anything about fire rate or damage or mobility or any of that shit. You can complain to God when you're dead that your death is bullshit because your gun had a higher fire rate. I get that.

But in Call-of-Duty-Land, they've set it up so that (not including sniper rifles) the MK14 (the single shot assault rifle) and M60 are the guns that deal the biggest damage. You should rarely get more than 1 hit marker with those guns. If I get the same amount of hit markers with the M60 as I would with any other LMG, then what's the point? Even if I add rapid fire, which would make the M60 the deadliest gun available, I still get the same amount of hit markers if I die from someone using an assault rifle.
