Year-over-year, SmackDown was only down four percent from the same week in 2018. Network TV ran their season premieres last night and -- despite strong numbers for those shows -- SmackDown held up pretty well all things considered.

Since moving to USA, SmackDown has averaged 2.364 million viewers. That's 84 percent of Raw's viewership during the same time span.

The highly requested online lobby system is back in WWE 2K20. Lobbies will streamline the process of pairing up players and getting them into a match as quickly as possible. We’re also excited to talk about new developments in MyPLAYER, Road to Glory, and MyPLAYER Towers.

CREATE A LOBBY.

If you have an exact online multiplayer match in mind, creating a lobby is the way to go. Select from a wide variety of match types and rules with up to six players. Choose the arena, Superstar gender, and even toggle the restriction to only allow default WWE Superstars (a.k.a. Fair Play). You can start out in private mode to invite friends and then open the remaining slots to the general public if you prefer. Once in a lobby together, everyone can voice chat as they select Superstars and the lobby creator makes decisions on the match at hand. Players will now have full visibility on how the match is coming together ...

MYPLAYER EVOLUTION

... For the first time ever, any special creation parts you unlock through playing MyCAREER, Road to Glory, and MyPLAYER Towers are also available in the general Create-a-Superstar mode. On top of that, you can export the appearance of your MyPLAYER out to the general character creations as well!

Road to Glory and MyPLAYER Tower fans will be familiar with the process of earning stars to enter special pay-per-view events. These Road to Glory events now include female matches for the first time, in addition to male matches.

DAILY REFRESHED MATCH CHALLENGES

The new Tonight’s Match feature in Multiplayer places you in a new match every day that rotates through match types, rules, genders, and arenas to make it simple to constantly try something new

The article also teases a potential appearance by Dwayne Johnson on the debut show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Basically FOX managed to do what USA Network and NBC struggled to do by getting a bunch of notable companies to sponsor and/or buy ads for the first time for WWE shows where in the past they had no interest or viewed wrestling as a weak tv market.

UPDATE: I spoke with one person at Impact Wrestling who told us the number of people that left with Kevin Sullivan was “less than ten”. We were not given the specific number.

IMPACT had been outsourcing the majority of its production work to KSTV, which had assembled all of IMPACT's weekly programming for domestic and international providers.

KSTV had previously done work with AEW, producing the cold opens for Fight for the Fallen and Fyter Fest.

IMPACT has reportedly hired a local Tennessee producer to handle the work in the wake of KSTV's departure. A source told SE Scoops that securing Sullivan and KSTV is a “huge strategic move” by AEW and “crippling” to IMPACT.

For 20 years, SmackDown has been home to some of the most iconic Superstars in all of sports-entertainment history. But who is the greatest? That’s up to you!

Right now on WWE’s official Twitter page, Instagram Story and Facebook Story, you can decide which blue brand competitor will advance to the next round of the SmackDown Greatest Superstar tournament. The 16 first-round matchups, featuring 32 SmackDown stalwarts, were seeded according to Superstars’ win percentages in matches that took place on SmackDown. The winner of the SmackDown Greatest Superstar tournament will be announced next Friday prior to SmackDown’s debut on FOX.

The tournament is broken into four distinct regions based on legendary Team Blue General Managers: Paige, Teddy Long, Vickie Guerrero and Paul Heyman.

You got one more match left in you?’ And I tell them, ‘Man.’ I say, ‘You know, it’s a tough thing to think about.’ Physically, would I be able to have one more match? Yes, most definitely, and I could make it to that match without being injured. Although the risks are always there, just because I think all of the surgeries, I had… where I had the spinal stenosis, and getting that bone spur taken off my spinal cord -- I’m in a good place. Nerves are feeling a lot better than they use to. So, you know, in theory, could I have a match? In theory, yes.”
