Year-over-year, SmackDown was only down four percent from the same week in 2018. Network TV ran their season premieres last night and -- despite strong numbers for those shows -- SmackDown held up pretty well all things considered.
Since moving to USA, SmackDown has averaged 2.364 million viewers. That's 84 percent of Raw's viewership during the same time span.

WWE had previously been promoting a number of legends as appearing, including Kurt Angle, Lita, Mick Foley, Booker T, Hulk Hogan, Trish Stratus, Goldberg, Jerry Lawler, Mark Henry, Ric Flair and Sting. Add Austin to the list.

There are replays listed for the FOX premiere episode for FOX Sports 2 for Saturday 10/5 and Tuesday 10/8 as well. If that replay pattern continues, the series will still be available for fans on Tuesday nights if they wish to watch it on that day.

Basically FOX managed to do what USA Network and NBC struggled to do by getting a bunch of notable companies to sponsor and/or buy ads for the first time for WWE shows where in the past they had no interest or viewed wrestling as a weak tv market.

We have not been able to confirm the additional number of people that had been working with Sullivan and are leaving, as well. Mike Johnson at PWinsider.com reported that Jim Morris is also leaving with Sullivan for AEW.
UPDATE: I spoke with one person at Impact Wrestling who told us the number of people that left with Kevin Sullivan was “less than ten”. We were not given the specific number.

IMPACT had been outsourcing the majority of its production work to KSTV, which had assembled all of IMPACT's weekly programming for domestic and international providers.
KSTV had previously done work with AEW, producing the cold opens for Fight for the Fallen and Fyter Fest.
IMPACT has reportedly hired a local Tennessee producer to handle the work in the wake of KSTV's departure. A source told SE Scoops that securing Sullivan and KSTV is a “huge strategic move” by AEW and “crippling” to IMPACT.

The tournament is broken into four distinct regions based on legendary Team Blue General Managers: Paige, Teddy Long, Vickie Guerrero and Paul Heyman.
