Christian was dead on arrival with the way they hyped it up.

Basically they needed Cena, Lesnar, or Punk to match the level of hype they themselves created. And it was just downhill from there.

His whole gimmick is he made a pro wrestling tees shirt that says "Out Work Everybody". That is as far as it goes, a cliche slogan. There are no shots of him working hard or him yelling at some other wrestler for being lazy backstage.

He walked to the ring to sign a contract. He walked to the ring to look at Omega and the belt. He stood backstage talking to jobbers, set up his first match by having Kaz walk up and talking about Impact matches from like 12 years ago.

Can't wait for his Jericho Podcast episode where he talks about how WWE held him back and didn't value him or his ideas, and how he is loving AEW and his multi-million dollar best contract ever.
