Age of Empires Online switches developers about mid-way in development.

According to Microsoft, the actual plan involved the developers switching since the original studio, Robot Entertainment, was only meant to do the initial structure/foundation and give them some experience before handing the project to Gas Powered Games to create the actual content and gameplay.

Nothing huge is expected to change with the game from the switch while Robot Entertainment is set to work on a new and original IP for Microsoft.

Robot Entertainment is the studio Microsoft created using the remaining employees from Ensemble Studios after that studio was dissolved.

Sony announced a $150 Full Deployment edition to arrive with SOCOM 4 that includes the game, a PlayStation Eye camera, a Move controller, a navigation controller, and the Sharp Shooter peripheral.

It probably means sales for the Move's Sharp Shooter "zapper" must have been much lower than Sony hoped although the $49.99 price tag didn't help either.
