This is far and away the worst attempt at a comedy film I have seen in years.
I'm actually mad about it for a variety of reasons and all of them are things Adam Sandler is regularly accused of. The difference is that Sandler isn't a material comic, he's a performance comic so he can be a lazy bastard and get away with a low laugh count on paper provided he pulls enough funny faces and silly accents.

This film here though is an inexcusable waste of talent and time.
Kristen Wiig is a writer and a great material comic, she is not a brilliant performer. I actually find her physical comedy to be quite awkward and embarassing for her. She's not good at it. Her strength is in spoken comedy and here she's given herself nothing to work with but crappy dialogue, a shitty accent and a dumb haircut.

Maddening.
