Are you inferring that because a few movies used it well, that 3D will become a stable in the film industry rather than a passing fad?

I'll say the same thing gaming and movie industry heads have said over the matter; the often required glasses betray the physical vision and inclusiveness experience of the viewer. People shouldn't have to 'suit up' in any way to enjoy a feature or videogame. The success from a few well uses will not make it standard, nor should it be, anymore than The Dark Knight ushering in gritty takes on superhero movies.
