You have some points but none of this is worth fighting for. We'd all like for AEW to be getting 1.2 or more every week but it does fit into the bigger picture. Smackdown in it's height on UPN averaged in the 4.0 area, Raw even higher with obvious peaks that were much higher. This is with the time though, no streaming, if you wanted to watch it you had to watch it live or set your tv and vcr up to record. Which still registered as a live watch. Cable overall is down at this time, thus WWE is down. But with that adjustment they are still doing some of the biggest numbers on cable. And with the current situation AEW is one of the top rated entertainment shows on Wednesday night every week. So even though we'd all prefer wrestling to be scoring better, in reality it's not that bad. I'm still dealing with years of abuse from WWE, so are many others and thus naturally we are mostly on board with the new product that engages our nostalgia and lust for exciting action and stories that are for wrestling fans. WWE is still geared to pleasing Vince and that is the big difference when it comes to fandom for AEW. I don't think anyone here wants WWE to fail, but while it is spiraling downward (creatively) as it has for years, we are more than pleased to enjoy AEW, which for the most part WE are the target audience for.
