Short handed? They had one guy on the shelf. It might have been the main guy but this was hardly “most the roster stuck in Saudi Arabia” or “snow storm”, both of which yielded far better results.

There’s so little effort put in. They literally repeated the same beats over and over. Ryker beat Hardy, so Hardy challenged Elias (putting aside the fact that they already ended this feud), then Lashley beat Riddle, so Riddle challenged MVP. There was a men’s tag match that ended with a blind tag, and then a women’s tag that ended with a blind tag.

There’s other stuff; the seemingly never-ending opening segment, and Gulak being told he can’t just declare for the Rumble, and it being rationalised, then Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke declaring themselves for the Rumble within 30 minutes, are the first that spring to mind.

It’s all just very “meh” given the talent they have available to them.
