Yeah, it possibly is. It’s got nothing to do with him being Samoan though. Don’t let Smeat tell you that. The WWE tried to do a similar thing with John Cena and Jim Barnett had to jump in and ask why they were making this dude cover up.

It’s possibly a Vince thing. I don’t know why. Vince never appeared shirtless all that much either, when you think about it. It’s possible he sees it easier to market an “action hero” that way. Maybe he thinks little boys and little girls won’t be allowed to play with dolls of men who don’t wear shirts? Maybe he just thinks it’s more like a movie/TV show if his hero has a “uniform?”

But I’d be willing to bet on zany Vince McMahon ideas than the guy Vince has decided to push being too soft. You do know Vince didn’t have to choose him, right?
