According to the creator of Flappy Bird, the game will be removed from all app stores before the end of tomorrow.

While it wasn't stated, the official reason appears to be related to recent backlash with this time involving the amount of ad revenue generated by the game ($50,000 per day). The level of backlash has gotten to the point that dealing with the game is no longer worth the hassle for the creator.
