4/16 - THE FORUM

The first dud show in TPWW history kicks off with an elimination match between fan favorites Fatu and Stevie Richards. Disappointing match between the two that ends with Fatu hitting the Kishi Driver for the win. Afterwards, Fatu and Richards dance a bit for the crowd.

Our next elimination match pits Sean Morley against the villainous Mike Knox. Better match than its predecessor, and Knox picks up another clean win with the Knox Out.

A pair of monstrous heels are out in our third of six elimination matches as "Psycho" Sid Vicious takes on Shad Gaspard. Sid continues to help make new stars by losing clean to Shad in this match.

Seven of the sixteen original participants in the King Of The Forum tournament have been eliminated, and after this match, the field will have been cut in half. It's the "Alpha Male" Monty Brown against the original degenerate Sean Waltman. Waltman looks to have the match in hand when his running buddy Scott Hall comes to the ring. The plan backfires, though, as Hall misses Brown and takes out Waltman, allowing Brown to hit the PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOUN-suh for the win.

Both Fatu and Shad Gaspard avoided elimination earlier tonight against Stevie Richards and Sid Vicious, respectively. Now they must face each other in another elimination match! Both men's earlier contests took a toll on them, as both showed signs of fatigue, but the monstrous Fatu picks up the clean win to survive.

Our tenth elimination match is up next as Monty Brown and Mike Knox hit the ring for their second matches of the night. Knox continues to look like the most dominant force in TPWW, picking up yet another win with the Knox Out.

Low Ki and Scott Hall are up next in their third tournament matches, both looking to give the other his first loss. Good match that gets a good reaction from the crowd, and the exciting Ki picks up the big win with the Tidal Wave to advance to the finals of the winners' bracket!

We now know that Low Ki has a date in two weeks as one of three men with a shot at being the first TPWW King Of The Forum. His opponent in his first match that night will be determined in tonight's main event as ECW alumni Sabu and Raven go one-on-one! This one is possibly the best TPWW match thus far, which makes the fact that it's a dud show that much more disappointing. Raven gets a clean win with the Raven Effect, but Sabu attacks after the bell sending him to the floor to stand tall.
