Yeah that would help out a lot.
Even hiring just a writer to help out would fix some of their creative issues for storylines and lessen the weekly workload.
Based on the stories of how AEW's creative process works, its pretty much like early era NXT but without the advantage of a monthly taping schedule, longer weekly shows, and a much larger roster to deal with. NXT's solution to those issues since the move to USA Network has been to just keep bloating their creative team which hasn't been effective in fixing the sluggish interest in their brand.
