Chris Jericho versus AJ Styles ends after 25+minutes of action when Chris Jericho hits the Lionsault for the 3 count. After the match Chris Benoit hits the ring and locks Jericho in the Crippler Crossface.

*It is announced that at the PPV Chris Benoit will face Chris Jericho for the World title in a submission match.
The Rock Defeats Billy Gunn with the Rock Bottom. Nothing too spectacular in this match as the overall rating was 63. Gunn was basically just fodder for the Rock.
Rey Mysterio defeated Abyss to retain the Heat World title. After the match, Abyss began to beat down Rey Mysterio until officials broke it up.

Undertaker versus Shelton Benjamin versus D-von Dudley.
The Undertaker scored the first pinfall of the match when he hit a chokeslam on D-von. Right after getting the pinfall, he turned around to get superkicked by Shelton as Shelton scored one of the biggest pinfalls of his young career.
