Yeah, no shit. This is why they put NXT on unopposed for a few weeks without AEW around. Not because they “wanted the jump,” which doesn’t make any fucking sense.

The huge hit in ad revenues probably going to get worse for WarnerMedia and the TV industry in general since that was a huge fear experts had with the coronavirus pandemic if it didn't ease up prior to the Fall sweeps.

AEW got extremely lucky with the timing of their modified TV deal with TNT since they would be hurting just as badly if the only real money coming in was from their share of ad revenues.
Hopefully they just cut AEW. They wouldn’t be getting anywhere near the ad revenue of a show that has that many viewers, especially with the 50/50 split. It’s probably performing at no better than 40% of what a show with that number of people watching should. Smart money would be to scrap that and start their own promotion or give the spot to someone else for less money and possibly more viewers.

The lawsuit does have some issues though in regards to getting a date wrong about Riddle's signing with WWE and how it portrays the partnership between WWE and EVOLVE since the inclusion of WWE as a defendant is the shakiest out of the group listed.

Sounds like the Kyros concussion lawsuit.
