MONUMENTAL news coming out of the weekend...

The USA Network abruptly pulled the plug on both Monday Nitro and Thunder. This came completely out of the blue and has the WCW office scrambling. They'll be looking for a new network home ASAP, but there's a very real chance Raw and SmackDown will run unopposed this week unless Bischoff and company can pull a rabbit out of a hat.

The rumor is that USA was unhappy that WCW went with the risky War Games match at Fall Brawl, despite the network's relatively middle-of-the-road "edginess." More on this as it develops.
